The men’s doubles petanque Cambodian team on Monday won over Laos and Thailand in the semi-finals of the South East Asian Games (SEA Games) at Olympic Complex, Petanque Arena, Phnom Penh.
On Monday morning, Cambodia met its Laos opponents with the same games men’s doubles petanque as the first competitor.
Pheap Vakhim and Puthyon Chandara represented Cambodia Men’s Doubles Petanque and Phonexay Douangmisy and Pino Phanthaly represented Laos' Men’s Doubles Petanque.

At the end, Cambodia beated Laos with a final result, 13-0.
At 1.30pm, the Cambodian team competed against the Thailand team, Aekkarin Kaewla and Ratchata Khamdee, in the Men's Doubles Petanque in the second round after Thailand defeated Laos, 13-0.
For the final result of the semi-final round, Cambodia scored one additional goal at the last minute, leveling up to 10, which made Cambodia triumph over Thailand, 10-7.
Cambodia will go on to the final round in order to find a medal on May 9.
