Steven Path is Kiripost’s chairman. The technology and leadership veteran has 25 years of experience in the United States, where he was CTO of eBenx, a tech startup that had a $1 billion IPO. He also co-founded several IT companies that provided services to Fortune 100 giants. Path returned to Cambodia in 2008 to found Pathmazing, which today has become a tech powerhouse and in 2022 was awarded the master agency of the 32nd SEA Games and 12th ASEAN PARA Games — recently concluded as the most succesful sports event in Cambodia's history. Pathmazing boasts a talented team of more than 120 software engineers, architects and UI / UX designers, who work with Kiripost to ensure our digital platform stays ahead of the game. Path has served on the Board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia and was the former President of the ICT Federation of Cambodia.
Currently Kiripost’s CEO and Editor-in-Chief, Chan Thul started his journalism career at Leisure Cambodia in 2002, after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English. A year later, he won a scholarship to study at the Independent Journalism Foundation (IJF) in Phnom Penh. He was quickly snapped up to work as a stringer for Spanish news wire EFE, before moving on to work for Chinese news agency, Xinhua. After a short stint at Xinhua, in 2004 the Siem Reap native joined a leading local newspaper covering the courts and general news, and as an assignment editor. In 2010, he moved onto the next stage of his career, working with Reuters, where he spent 14 years working as a full-time correspondent. Chan Thul is also a passionate advocate of press freedom, having been involved in championing independent journalism for many years. Besides chasing stories of public interest, Chan Thul works as a media trainer, helping transform young, timid people into fierce journalists. Three of Chan Thul’s former students currently write for Kiripost, while many others work as freelancers, as well as for other media outlets.

Recognizing the potential of this new medium, he started his own blog, becoming one of the pioneers in the Cambodian blogging scene. Through his writings, Tharum shared his thoughts on technology and the impact of the Internet on society, establishing himself as a respected voice in the online community. Tharum graduated from the National University of Management with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is an alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the U.S. Department of State's premier professional exchange program. Tharum is also a board member of Open Development Cambodia.
