The Cambodian men's volleyball team defeated Singapore 3-0 in their opening match at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) on Wednesday.

The Cambodians won the first set 25-14, leading by 10 points inside a packful indoor hall of the Olympic Stadium complex in Phnom Penh.
The crowd waved flags and shouted “Kampuchea, Kampuchea” as the host nation continued the victory in the second set with 25-19. The third set came close between the two nations at 25-20.

It was a victorious night for the hosts, who secured a bronze medal in the 31st SEA Games in Vietnam, against Singapore.
