Ride-hailing service TADA has launched an incentive promotion that will reward customers with the digital asset, Bitcoin.
The “Ride TADA Earn Bitcon” initiative, which runs from September 26 to 30, aims to give Cambodians an understanding of blockchain technology.
In Cambodia, few Cambodians are aware of Bitcoin or comprehend it, said Chheng Hunly, a Blockchain consultant at Mass Vehicle Ledger (MVL), which launched incentive-based Blockchain ride-hailing service TADA.
“This is just the first step to get people interested and learning about it. It's just a promotion," he added.
Cambodian citizens frequently engage in Bitcoin scams due to a lack of understanding. "Ride TADA, Earn Bitcoin” will help people learn more about it. Blockchain specialists are taking proactive steps to educate all who are interested.
“By offering Bitcoin, citizens will have a chance to learn more about blockchain,” said Hunly. “It is time for TADA to be promoted by seeking people to learn about it, understand it, and take advantage of the opportunity to create blockchain projects.”
“Blockchain technology was a TADA element that gave drivers and riders incentives. They will earn cryptocurrency utility tokens from Mass Vehicle Ledger (MVL).”
“Getting bitcoin is temporary, providing a token is the future journey,” he added. With the rapid development of technology, digital assets, and investments, Cambodian people should be more knowledgeable about blockchain. Blockchain is a technology.”
Cryptocurrencies are products of blockchain technology. Blockchain technology is popular in countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
Singapore-based MVL Foundation operates TADA, the first blockchain-based ride-hailing service, which has amassed one million users in Southeast Asia since its launch in 2018. MVL has also started to manufacture and supply electric vehicles, such as its E-TukTuk.
A utility token is a crypto token that serves some use case within a specific ecosystem. These tokens allow users to perform actions on a certain network. A utility token is unique to its ecosystem. It can only be used through MVL’s ecosystem services that have integrated Clutch wallets, like TADA and Onion.
The ride-hailing service and Onion are products of MVL’s South Korean founder, headquartered in Singapore, which debuted in Cambodia in 2019. MVL vision will use blockchain to utilize and provide incentives to riders and drivers that participate in the MVL ecosystem.
To be rewarded Bitcoin, download the latest version of TADA, click on the link for the TADA ride event, get Bitcoin and download the Clutch wallet, and Connect the Clutch Bag to TADA, After the ride is completed, the number of rides is accumulated, During the claim period, riders can receive a real BTCB prize based on this number of rides.
