WHO has warned that despite two decades of global efforts, rates of gender-based violence remain largely unchanged, with more than one in four women in the Western Pacific Region—including Cambodia—experiencing intimate partner or sexual violence, prompting urgent calls for stronger prevention, accountability and survivor-centred health system responses
