According to a statement from the bank, as of now the new feature works for ACLEDA Mobile app users who use the Smart mobile network. However, the bank said it will work with other network operators to expand the service.

ACLEDA Bank’s vice president and deputy head of marketing division, Phal Sokchamroeun, said users of ACLEDA Mobile can now use the mobile banking app more easily, even if their mobile phone has no Internet data or is not connected to Wi-Fi.

“Initially, this new functionality only works with mobile phones using Smart network. But, ACLEDA Bank is working with other mobile phone network operators as well,” he added.

To enjoy mobile banking services, users can download ACLEDA Bank’s ACLEDA Mobile app onto their phone and create an account using their mobile phone number as your account number, which is easy to remember and free. ACLEDA Mobile can be downloaded from the AppStore, Play Store and App Gallery.
