Since the onboarding of its new CEO, Simon Perkins, Cellcard has charted a path towards realizing the brand’s vision of enabling and enriching the digital lifestyles of its customers, with a clear focus on advancing network performance.

Together with one of its major network partners, Huawei, a network enhancement initiative has been developed and rolled out, centered on providing cost-optimized agile solutions, supported by Cellcard’s engineering expertise.

As part of the initiative, additional sites have been erected across 10 provinces. An IBS and Microcells solution has been deployed to fill in coverage gaps in Phnom Penh’s residential areas and boreys. Enhancements also include a full network software upgrade, VoLTE activation, and full Carrier Aggregation activation in 16 provinces.

To realize Cellcard’s vision of enabling, supporting, and enhancing our customers digital lifestyle, we’re re-energizing the focus on network enhancements as a major component of our strategy.
