The esports excitement continues beyond the ASEAN Para Games as Cambodia gears up to host the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) 2023 for the first time, from June 10 to 18.

Cambodia’s pride Burn X Flash will once again compete in the global Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports stage, representing the country in the upcoming Cup to be held in Phnom Penh.

The home team will don their national colors with pride as they take to the international esporting stage, with determination to clinch gold for the host nation.

Burn X Flash made a name for themselves in the last season of MPL KH Spring Split, when they secured the first-ever back-to-back title to climb their way through the lower bracket.

The Khmer quintet will comprise stellar players Kosal “ATM” Piseth, Sour “Celichma” Mara, Pich “WayOfTheShadow” Sopheak, Sok “C Cat” Roth, Vithou “Fury” Sovisal, Ty “D7” Oudom, and new star goldlaner, Mariusz “Donut” Tan.

This time, the team will be led by another Filipino coach Mitch “zMitch” Sato.

“Burn X Flash has been putting Cambodia on the global map of MLBB esports. It’s about time they welcome their opponents so they can showcase the Cambodian’s strong and competitive spirit. I hope their fans continue supporting them in this bigger battle in their home country,” said Ray Ng, MOONTON Games Head of Esports Ecosystem.

Burn X Flash will duke it out against Indonesia’s ONIC via an opener set on June 10. This is followed by a match on June 13 that sees the Khmer squad take on North America’s Team Occupy.

Powered by MOONTON Games, this year’s MSC makes it into the history books as it welcomes competing teams from Turkiye, MENA, and North America.

The matches can be watched live on the MLBB-Esports YouTube channel or live at Phnom Penh’s AEON Mall 3.
