Vattanac Brewery has become another premium sponsor for the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asia Games, to be hosted by Cambodia for the first time in May, offering sport beverages to athletes and delegates attending the region’s biggest sporting event.
Speaking before the signing ceremony at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) on Friday, Vattanac Sam Ang, CEO of Vattanac Brewery, said that the company believes that the secret to life is joy.
He added that research has shown that joy boosts the immune system, fights stress and improves life expectancy.
With this belief, Vattanac said that his team is on a mission to bring and share joy with everyone in Cambodia and beyond.
“We believe that joy is created when we get together to achieve a common goal, celebrate on an occasion, stay positive and help others,” Vattanac said.

He added that sports bring people together and with Cambodia hosting Southeast Asia's biggest sports event for the very first time this year, aligning themselves with the vision to bring people together and share joy under the proud 100 percent Cambodian-owned company, he is honored to be able to play a part to support this momentous historic SEA Games and Para Games as the official beverage sponsor under the premier category.
Vattanac said that as part of this agreement, the company will provide three days and two nights stay at Rosewood Phnom Penh to all Cambodian gold medalists, in addition to cash and in kind sponsorship.
“We hope our sponsorship will motivate and encourage our athletes to achieve more when they represent Cambodia in the upcoming SEA Games and Para Games,” Vattanac said, adding that he is also hoping to promote and contribute to the development of sports in Cambodia through his marketing and advertising network.
He also hoped that all Cambodians will unite together to cheer, support and care for our athletes and celebrate this amazing occasion together.
Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC), said on Friday that the beverages will be enough for athletes during competitions.
He said that Vattanac will sponsor V-Active for the games.
