Nomadic Culture Event Takes Over Peak Mall

A display of film, food, Khmer ceramics and contemporary arts from Cambodia and across the world can be seen at Peak Mall until June 11

A celebration of Khmer and other worldwide cultures has taken over Peak Mall as part of the International Design Expedition’s (IDE) nomadic culture event, displaying film, food, Khmer ceramics and contemporary arts.

The event runs at Peak Mall until June 11 and also features a line-up of local and international artists, such as Sihak Son, Camillo Bernal, and Stanislas Loubieres. In addition, it will host exhibitions and workshops.

A Peak Mall spokesperson said that the event celebrates the nomadic traditions through the display of films, Khmer ceramic, and contemporary arts by local and international artists.

Sihak Son from Morodock Ceramics and Camillo Bernal, which is displaying its new Khmer ceramic in Siem Reap, will again showcase their arts during the nomadic event.

The products are also on sale, ranging between $100 and $300. While the price of some contemporary arts and paintings sit between $1,000 and $3,000.

On June 10 and 11, participants have the opportunity to meet with celebrities including Princess Jenna Norodom and Miss Universe Cambodia, Reth Sarita.
