The Laotian president and former president of Timor-Leste will attend the SEA Games opening ceremony on Friday.
Laos President Thongloun Sisoulith will pay a State Visit to Cambodia from May 4 to May 6 to boost bilateral ties and attend the opening of the 32nd SEA Games in Phnom Penh this week.
Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, Chief of Negotiator Maritime Boundary, former president and Prime Minister of Timor-Leste, has also confirmed his attendance.
Cambodia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that Sisoulith of Laos will meet Prime Minister Hun Sen for a bilateral meeting to touch base on further deepening bilateral cooperations, along with regional and international issues of common concern.
Gusmão of Timor-Leste will visit Cambodia from May 4 to 7, with a courtesy call with Hun Sen.
