Kulen Water Becomes Exclusive Water Sponsor for SEA Games

Eau Kulen natural mineral water has become the exclusive water sponsor for the upcoming 32nd SEA Games after signing an agreement with the organizing committee on Friday to provide water to athletes and fans attending the region’s mega event.

Speaking at the signing ceremony on Friday at the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of the SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC), welcomed Kulen water for the sponsorship, which is a great honor of support for the SEA Games, which is a mega sport where athletes need good quality water to recover from training and competing.

“Water is the number one energy for athletes,” Chamroeun said, adding that it is CAMSOC’s mission to find good water.

“The games are history for us and your water will be a good legacy for the SEA Games 2023,” he said.

Steven Path, CEO at PathMazing, said that the deal had come through after a few months of working to seek exclusive water sponsorship and the Kulen is the leading premium water in the country and Cambodians are proud of. It is quite an honor to strike the deal with Kulen, he said.

“It’s very exciting for us that we have a sponsor that has a product that we are proud of, as Cambodians and for us to be able to share this with all our Cambodian athletes as well as foreign athletes coming to compete and train,” Path said.

Jacques Marcille, Managing Director at Kulara Water Co,. Ltd, said that the team is proud of sponsoring the games and being the first natural water in the country.

Eau Kulen said on its website that the water has been brought from the foot of Cambodia’s most sacred mountain, Kulen in Siem Reap province and it reflects the land from which it comes and its origin gives it the exceptional character of its identity, its quality, and its unique taste.

The website added that the company has also won the First Prize at the Eurocham CSR Awards and Contest 2019, in the “Large Company category,” the company that produces Eau Kulen just won the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2020 in the “Investment in people Category”.
