The Kingdom’s largest national awards to celebrate digital innovation will take place in November in the form of Cambodia Digital Awards 2022 (CDA22) – and a call is being made for applications.

CDA22 is a re-envision of the former Cambodia ICT Awards, which aims to showcase the development of digital technology and push innovation in the digital realm.

Now in its eighth year, the awards have opened up applications to digital start-ups and entrepreneurs, enterprises, research institutes, universities, NGOs, public institutes and ministries who have excelled in embracing digital and tech innovations.

The aim of the awards, which is organized by the Academy of Digital Technology of Cambodia with support from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and co-sponsored by Smart Axiata and Huawei Technologies, is to promote Cambodia’s digital transformation – which has excelled during the pandemic – and encourage the use of digital technologies and innovation nationwide.

According to CDA22, the main pillars of the awards is to showcase the achievements, innovations and successes of digital innovation across Cambodia while encouraging organizations to adopt technology.

In addition, it aims to raise awareness about digital technology among the public and provide investment opportunities and the chance to represent Cambodia on the regional and global stage at digital awards.

A total of 48,000,000 riel will be given to the winners across six categories. The categories are:
