ACLEDA Bank has officially opened its 264th branch at AEON Mall Mean Chey, the third Japanese-invested mega mall in Cambodia.
According to ACLEDA, the newest branch at the third Japanese-invested mega mall in Cambodia will be open seven days a week from 9am to 7pm, offering various modern banking services.
Sok Sophea, Senior Vice-President and Senior Head of Marketing of ACLEDA, told reporters at the opening ceremony that AEON Mall is one of the bank’s strategic partners and the opening is to support both its strategic partner and their clients.
“AEON Mall is our strategic partner, so wherever AEON Mall expands itself to, ACLEDA Bank will open a branch there to serve our partner, their clients, as well as the public,” Sophea said.
“Strategically, we will expand our branches everywhere to bring the banking services closer to the people because we are one of the largest banks, serving nearly four million customers,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sophea highlighted the increase in the bank’s digital banking services in 2022, with the value of transactions in 2022 rising to $137 million from $88 million in the previous year, representing an 80 percent increase.
